Not just because I don't feel like going to sleep yet, but because I want to make it clear.
I don't intentionally try to offend people. I try to stay as nice as possible, hoping not to cause any problems or make any waves. I can understand the wisdom of keeping the peace. If I offend somebody deliberately using things like ethnicity or something that is just obvious about them, then people have a right to get angry and feel offended.
However, if somebody is offended because my worldview, or rather, my beliefs inform me about a particular lifestyle or behavior that this person is living out, and that person gets offended because of it, you know what I say?
I don't care.
I simply don't care about you feeling "offended" or "hurt" because I don't support your "marriage" with your shared-gender "partner". I simply don't care about you feeling "offended" because you don't like my politics. I simply don't care if you are "offended" by my decision to protect human life, in or out of the womb. I don't even care that you're "offended" by the very notion of me not putting a single bit of stock in this global warming rhetoric and not caring about the "poor penguins".
You can't make me care.
I do NOT support gay marriage. I do NOT support abortion in any way. I do NOT believe in global warming. You don't like my views? Then leave. Don't associate with me, and we'll part ways. I don't care if you're offended by my views, and if you don't like them that much, then we don't need to talk. I'm a simple guy, and that's the simple option. Either you put up, or you shut up.
If you disagree with me, then the answer is simple. As attractive as you may be, I really don't need you if you're going to whine about my worldview. I'll find better friends, frankly. I know I'm inherently evil, I know that every facet of my behavior is sinful, but that doesn't mean I still have to put up with you just because you're better than me.

Going on the same subject, I am NOT open-minded! When did the lies start spreading about having an open mind in the first place? Having an open mind is not a virtue! In the words of Dr. MacArthur, that's "one step above being a moron".
"Who says that there is some sort of great wisdom in keeping your mind open all the time for the latest rage to come in? You've got to decide what to let in and what to keep out. You have a door on your house, and the reason you have a door on your house is to keep some things in and some things out. You make a judgement as to when you open it and when you don't. That's why you have a hole in it. You don't live in your neighborhood with your door wide open and welcome everybody. You'd be a fool."
Let me tell you, I'd rather be the closed-minded "bigot" I am now and actually have a shred of discernment and judgment, than to be an open-minded "tolerant individual" that accepts and defends any style of living unconditionally.
People say to be open-minded about gay marriage, and I ask, why? I see no reason to allow the sacred institution of marriage to be opened up any further than between a man and woman, reguardless of how much the same gender couple love each other and stay faithful to each other. If we allow any alternatives, then what are we saying to everybody? "As long as you're devoted, you can get married"? Then, what would be wrong with polygamy, as long as it's an assortment of devoted wives? Or, for that matter, pedophilia? I mean, the 12-year-old girl is lovingly devoted to that 26-year-old man she met on the internet, so why not? Maybe bestiality can come to play, too? I've certainly seen more love and devotion between a man and his dog than I've seen between a gay couple!
How about being open-minded about abortion? Well, I mean, c'mon, the baby isn't even born yet! And he's leeching off his Mother's body! Why can't we just "terminate the fetus" and let the Mother have her choice as to whether she keeps the baby or not? I mean, shouldn't she get to choose to not let her body go into a state of disorder, causing her to have to wear larger sizes of clothing? Heaven forbid we make the Mother sit out a summer or two from the beach because her body isn't flattering that swimsuit, anymore!
For that matter, why should we just stop at terminating fetuses? The mentally-handicapped 4-year-old is keeping his parents from enjoying all the pleasures of life, and is leeching off their income! The 4-year-old can't take care of himself, so why don't we just terminate him, as well? He's not viable by himself, so what's the problem? Or how about we just allow parents to kill their 6-month-old little girl because she has a deformity on her face and doesn't look cute? Again, she can't take care of herself, so let's just pitch her to the garbage can and the furnace fires!
...Am I the only one who sees the ridiculous in this? The very possible slippery-slope we're going to go down if this continues? Social Darwinism at it's worst, I say. Before we know it, even Eugenics will make a return, and by then, we won't even have a second thought about "terminating the fetuses" that even stand a chance of being mentally retarded, or deformed, or handicapped in any way. Is this really what we're going to do?
Are we really going to go down the same road as Hitler? He openly supported the Eugenics program! He loved the writings of Darwin's racist theory! He wanted to create a super-race by killing any individuals he deemed unfit, and that is no different than what we are doing now.
We as humans are not only going down the same road as Hitler, but I daresay that we've surpassed him. What we are doing in the 21st-century is so evil, so depraved, so wicked, that we make Hitler look like a meek choirboy in comparison.
I am even worse than that. I am so evil, wicked, and depraved that I alone surpass Hitler. I know I'm the worst person in existence because of my thought life alone. In my heart, I know what I am. I am every bit as racist, hateful, spiteful, revolting, depraved, genocidal, bigotted, anything that can be said of ten Hitler's.
I am, in a word, evil.
Many, many times worse than you.
And even I can see what we're doing.
What can be said of you?
